HOA members have the right to inspect the associations books and records. The procedure requires the submittal of a request by member. The association then responds to the request by providing the member with an estimate of the cost for the requested copies or by informing the member of issues the association may have with the request. The member may also notify the association of a representative of the member that will be inspecting and copying the requested documents.
